🗂 Part of event: What price will Bitcoin hit in 2026? →💡 What the odds say
The market puts this at about a 6% chance — very unlikely.
No money — just record your call and see if you were right. Yes is at 6% right now.
Despite bullish headlines and long-term price predictions, the market prices Bitcoin reaching $120,000 by year-end at just 6% because the current price of $65,000 is far from the target and faces a strong options ceiling at $70,000, making a near-doubling in five months historically unprecedented from such a high base.
What's driving it
- • Bitcoin's price plateau at $65,000 after ETF inflows (CoinGape, Jul 21) shows the market lacks the momentum to rally to $120,000.
- • A $70,000 options ceiling (Memeburn, Jul 20) creates a significant resistance level that caps upside price movement.
- • Long-term predictions of $200,000 or $1 million (Business Insider, Pluang, Jul 20) are not seen as credible near-term catalysts for a 85% move in five months.
- • Corporate treasury additions like Strive's 21 BTC (Bitcoin Magazine, Jul 20) are too modest to drive the price to $120,000.
The case for YES
- • The resolution condition uses any one-minute Binance candle high, so a brief intraday spike could trigger 'Yes' even without a sustained price level.
- • A major surprise catalyst, such as a US strategic Bitcoin reserve announcement or a sudden dovish Fed pivot, could trigger a short squeeze to $120,000.
- • Bitcoin has historically made parabolic moves in past bull cycles (e.g., 2017, 2020-2021), and a similar pattern could repeat if fresh retail inflows materialize.
The case for NO
- • Bitcoin needs an 85% gain from $65,000 to $120,000 in five months, a move that has never occurred from such a high base price in Bitcoin's history.
- • The $70,000 options ceiling reported by Memeburn (Jul 20) indicates strong derivative-market resistance that will suppress any rally attempt.
- • Regulatory uncertainty and a lack of new retail participation (evidenced by flat price action) make a doubling within the timeframe highly improbable.
What to watch
- • Federal Reserve meeting on July 29-30, 2026: a dovish rate cut would likely boost risk assets and increase 'Yes' probability.
- • US midterm elections on November 5, 2026: if pro-crypto candidates win, regulatory clarity could drive a rally, raising 'Yes' odds.
- • Potential approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF in a major Asian market (e.g., Hong Kong) in late 2026: a favorable decision could trigger institutional buying and push odds higher.

Which price will Bitcoin hit in 2026?
The field is overwhelmingly concentrated on Bitcoin reaching $65k and $75k in 2026, both at 99%, reflecting the current price near $64k and a strong bullish consensus. The single biggest recent shift is the surge in odds for $65k to near certainty as Bitcoin approached that level, confirmed by the July 20 headline 'Bitcoin price hits $65K wall'.

Which price will Bitcoin hit in July?
The market is effectively settled: with Bitcoin trading above $65,000 as of July 26 and only five days left in July, the 98% odds for $65,000 reflect a near-certain outcome rather than a speculative bet, leaving no room for the other two price levels.

Which price will Solana hit in July?
The $70 target leads at 30%, but the field is far from decided; the single largest recent shift appears to be the mixed impact of a record stablecoin market cap and a $1.65M exploit on the same day (July 20), which may have widened the probability spread.

What will be the price of Bitcoin at the end of 2026?
The field is heavily concentrated in the $60k–$90k range (81% combined), with the leading $60k–$75k bracket at 53% — a bet that Bitcoin's bear market bottoms and recovers modestly by year-end, but does not break out above $105k (only 6%). The biggest recent shift is the 53% leader absorbing share from the $75k–$90k and below-$60k bins, likely driven by the July 18 report of massive call spreads targeting $72,000 around the Fed meeting (CoinDesk, Jul 18) and the July 24 analysis suggesting the bear market may end before the four-year cycle predicts (Bitcoin Foundation, Jul 24).

Will Bitcoin to cross $100,000 USD again in 2026?
Despite bullish predictions for a September turnaround, Bitcoin's price languishes near $63k, far from $100k, and a death cross in March has dampened hopes for a 2026 recovery. The market assigns only a 25% chance, reflecting skepticism that any near-term catalyst can fuel a 58% rally.
