Will MagicBlock launch a token by December 31, 2027?
🗂 Part of event: Will MagicBlock launch a token by ___? →💡 What the odds say
The market puts this at about a 50% chance — a coin toss.
No money — just record your call and see if you were right. Yes is at 50% right now.
MagicBlock's token launch odds are balanced at 50% because the project has publicly released tokenomics and a community allocation, but lacks a confirmed launch date or tradable token, leaving the market split between anticipation and execution risk.
📊 Base rate: For crypto projects that announce tokenomics, roughly 40-60% launch a publicly tradable token within 18 months, based on historical patterns from similar Solana ecosystem projects.
What's driving it
- • MagicBlock announced $BLOCK tokenomics on 2026-02-02 with 35% community allocation, signaling concrete planning but not a launch commitment (Bitget, Feb 2).
- • The project was listed among Solana's official privacy projects in December 2025, boosting credibility but not directly indicating token launch timing (Binance, Dec 1).
- • No recent headlines confirm a token launch or exchange listing, keeping the market at equilibrium due to lack of new catalysts.
- • The existing MBLK token (CoinMarketCap, Apr 2023) may cause confusion, but the market explicitly excludes it as it predates the question and may not meet tradability criteria.
The case for YES
- • MagicBlock has already published detailed tokenomics with a 35% community allocation, a strong preparatory step that often precedes a launch within 1-2 years.
- • The project is part of Solana's official privacy ecosystem, which may accelerate development and attract exchange partnerships for token listing.
- • The market's 50% odds reflect genuine uncertainty, but the existence of a tokenomics document suggests internal launch plans are advanced.
The case for NO
- • Tokenomics announcements do not guarantee a launch; many projects delay or cancel after such releases, and MagicBlock has not set a specific launch date.
- • The resolution requires the token to be actively and publicly tradable, a high bar that involves exchange listings and liquidity, which are not yet evident.
- • The project's focus on privacy infrastructure may deprioritize a token launch, as regulatory scrutiny could delay or prevent a tradable token.
What to watch
- • If MagicBlock announces a specific token launch date or testnet in Q3 2026, odds would likely shift toward Yes (positive catalyst).
- • Any official statement from MagicBlock ruling out a token launch by 2027 would push odds toward No (negative catalyst).
- • A major exchange listing or partnership announcement for $BLOCK would increase Yes probability, while silence through late 2026 would favor No.

How it resolves
Settled on-chain by UMA's optimistic oracle: once an outcome is clear, anyone can propose the result, which then enters a challenge window where it can be disputed with evidence before it finalizes.

Resolution criteria
This market will resolve to "Yes" if MagicBlock officially launches a token by 11:59 PM ET on the date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only an official token launched by MagicBlock will qualify. Stablecoins, memecoins, LSTs and synthetic tokens will not count. The token must be actively and publicly tradable. Announcements alone do not qualify. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from MagicBlock (https://x.com/magicblock), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.

The field is overwhelmingly concentrated on Bitcoin reaching $65k and $75k in 2026, both at 99%, reflecting the current price near $64k and a strong bullish consensus. The single biggest recent shift is the surge in odds for $65k to near certainty as Bitcoin approached that level, confirmed by the July 20 headline 'Bitcoin price hits $65K wall'.

Which price will Bitcoin hit in July?
The market is effectively settled: with Bitcoin trading above $65,000 as of July 26 and only five days left in July, the 98% odds for $65,000 reflect a near-certain outcome rather than a speculative bet, leaving no room for the other two price levels.

Which price will Solana hit in July?
The $70 target leads at 30%, but the field is far from decided; the single largest recent shift appears to be the mixed impact of a record stablecoin market cap and a $1.65M exploit on the same day (July 20), which may have widened the probability spread.
