How it resolves
Settled on-chain by UMA's optimistic oracle: once an outcome is clear, anyone can propose the result, which then enters a challenge window where it can be disputed with evidence before it finalizes.

This market will resolve according to the number of times Elon Musk (@elonmusk), posts on X from July 20 12:00 PM ET to July 22, 2026 12:00 PM ET. For the purposes of this market, only main feed posts, quote posts and reposts will count. The resolution source for this market is the 'Post Counter' figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.

Democratic Presidential Nominee 2028
The Democratic 2028 nomination is a blank slate: no candidate reaches 5% odds, and the top two (Sanders and Winfrey at 1% each) are more symbolic than serious contenders, reflecting a field that has yet to cohere around any major figure.

Republican Presidential Nominee 2028
The 2028 Republican nomination field is extraordinarily open, with no candidate above 5% and the top two—Byron Donalds and Mike Pence—combined at just 1%, reflecting that the race is still over two years away and the party's direction remains unsettled after Trump's influence and recent events like Sen. Lindsey Graham's death (Capitol City Now, Jul 17). The biggest recent shift is the emergence of J.D. Vance as the perceived front-runner, per a Vox analysis calling the nomination 'Vance’s to lose' (Jul 17), yet his position is fragile due to internal party tensions over Trump's populist legacy (Denver Post, Jul 9).

Democratic Presidential Nominee 2028
Despite Newsom's commanding lead, the field is far from settled: the 20% 'Other' share and AOC/Ossoff's recent gains per Action Network (Jul 8) suggest a pool of anti-Newsom sentiment waiting for a viable alternative.
